Knowledge of technology and characteristics of passive and active components for power electronic circuits.
Knowledge of main characteristics of power supply circuits and class D power amplifiers.
Classification and characterization of voltage and current surges and transient voltage suppression components.
Application of microcontrollers for power electronics and domotics.
The course includes 5 laboratory units with use of CAD programs for electronic circuits, characterization of the realized analog power circuits, demonstration simple power electronics on self developed breadboard and those available from Texas Instruments.
