The course aims to provide knowledge of the main theories and techniques of environmental acoustics.
In particular, after the description of the fundamentals of the discipline, the following topics will be teated: environmental acoustics, room acoustics and building acoustics.
Knowledge of the problems of sound and noise transmission, noise emitted by plants, noise emitted / transmitted inside / outside the buildings Knowledge of current legislation/standard and policies for noise control. Aware of the possibility of intervention and action mode on / in buildings and plants as well as in outdoor spaces
