Learning Objectives
To provide the competencies needed to:
• Reengineering of mechanical product using DFM approach
• Optimization of manufacturing costs
• Non conventional and plastic/composite materials manufacturing processes
• Eco manufacturing
The student will acquire the capacity and knowledge on the tools to improve the producibility of industrial products, the production costs and time. It will be provided the competencies to use non conventional processes and plastic/composite materials, particular regards will be sued for the environmental aspect of the processes.
Prerequisites
The needed competencies for this course are:
• Mechanical Technology
• Economics
Suggested competencies are:
• Mechanical Design
• Process Planning
Teaching Methods
46 hours of classroom didactic
2 hours of practical exercises
