SEMP Mobility

Call for Participation in the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) – Academic Year 2026/2027

The Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) allows students to spend one or two semesters at a Swiss partner university. This mobility is based on the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and requires prior activation of reciprocal mobility agreements between institutions.

Objectives of the SEMP Mobility Period

• Carrying out a study period, including exams for attended courses. Where permitted by the academic regulations, this period may include an internship.
• Preparation of the degree thesis, or part of it, following a work plan approved by the supervisor and the responsible teacher at the host institution, including the assignment of credits earned abroad.

Financial Support

Eligible students will receive a financial contribution from the Swiss Federation. The host institution will provide accepted students with detailed information about the disbursement of the grant. The status of the mobility student and the management of the financial contribution are the responsibility of the host institution.
