Non-EU International Mobility – Academic Year 2025/2026
Non-EU mobility allows first, second, and third cycle students to spend a study period at a non-EU foreign university that has signed a cultural and scientific collaboration agreement with the University of Florence.
Activities Planned Abroad
- Carrying out a study period, including exams for attended courses. Where permitted by the academic regulations, this period may include an internship.
- Preparation of the degree thesis, or part of it, based on a work plan approved by the supervisor and the responsible professor at the host institution.
Host Institution Selection
To facilitate the search for a Non-EU host institution, students can download the list of agreements, which includes useful links for course selection.
Once the courses to be taken abroad are selected, students must obtain the equivalence form from the relevant UNIFI professor. This form is not required for free-choice exams.
If interested in a Non-EU internship, students must first check whether the contact person for the agreement belongs to the department of their enrolled course. They should then contact the reference professor to confirm the possibility of an internship.
Note: Non-EU mobility cannot consist solely of an internship. The internship may be integrated with the study period or, if no study period is planned, combined with the final project work.
