The internal training activity can be recognized as a curricular internship in the student’s individual study plan and generally consists of a professionalizing experience carried out in Department laboratories or facilities.
This procedure applies to the DIEF, DICEA, and DINFO Departments.
The professor completes the following fields in the form:
Additionally, the professor and the student fill out the Potential Risks Assessment Form (file: UNIFI-PO-01-Mod04).

The request form and the signed risk assessment form, acknowledged by the student, are sent to the Degree Programme Coordinator or President for approval.
Afterward, the approved form is sent to the Department Director for final authorization in compliance with safety obligations.
The Department Director may request additional information from the responsible professor if necessary.
Once the procedure is completed, the authorization is sent by email from the Department to both the professor and the student, with a copy to the Coordinator/President and the School Internship Office.

Note: The curricula of the Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering (INL, B047), Mechanical Engineering (MEL, B049) and Management Engineering (GEL, B222) do not allow internal internships. In these cases, internships must be carried out at external companies or institutions and cannot be recognized as internal curricular training activities.
