The Erasmus+ Traineeship programme is aimed at students who wish to carry out a curricular internship or a thesis project at companies, training centres, or research centres that are partners of the University in one of the programme’s participating countries.
Excluded are: offices or bodies that manage EU programmes, EU institutions, Embassies or Consulates in the host country.
Applications must be submitted through the annual call for applications, generally published between March and April of each academic year.

Students may carry out the internship or thesis project at foreign institutions with which UNIFI has cultural or scientific cooperation agreements outside the Erasmus+ programme.
The procedure requires the student to contact a lecturer (UNIFI Tutor), who will get in touch with the agreement contact person and with a lecturer at the host institution, supporting the student throughout all stages of the mobility.
For internships or thesis projects at foreign institutions without pre-existing agreements, the student proposes the project to a lecturer (UNIFI Tutor).
The Tutor, in collaboration with a lecturer at the host institution, draws up an agreement that varies depending on the host country:
The agreement includes the Internship/Final Project Work Programme form, and the Tutor supports the student in all phases of the procedure.
Once the agreement has been finalised, the Tutor and the student define together:
The student then requests authorisation from the Study Programme (CdS) to carry out the internship or thesis project at the host institution abroad, using the specific request form. The Study Programme deliberates on the mobility abroad.
At the end of the mobility, the student sends the Final Evaluation Form, countersigned by the UNIFI Tutor, to the Internship Office. The Internship Office forwards the certification to the Student Registry for the validation of internship credits and/or final project in the student's academic record.
