La mia ricerca ruota principalmente attorno alla dinamica evolutiva degli ecosistemi forestali. L’obiettivo è comprendere queste dinamiche per garantire l’integrità funzionale delle foreste per la loro gestione sostenibile.
Utilizzo una combinazione di tecniche di telerilevamento, osservazioni in situ e modellazione per indagare l’interazione tra gli ecosistemi forestali e i cicli della materia (specificamente, carbonio e acqua) così come i flussi di energia. Questa indagine si concentra su come queste dinamiche evolvono attraverso le dimensioni spaziali e temporali.

My research primarily revolves around the evolutionary dynamics of forest ecosystems. The objective is to comprehend these dynamics to ensure the functional integrity of forests for their sustainable management.
I employ a combination of remote sensing techniques, in-situ observations, and modeling to investigate the interplay between forest ecosystems and matter cycles (specifically, carbon and water) as well as energy flows.
