The final exam aims to ascertain the acquisition of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge and skills an oral interview without the aid of notes or books.
The intermediate tests consist, in each case, of 3 exercises aimed at verifying knowledge on three-phase systems, on electric machines, on electric drives.
The oral exam consists of an interview aimed at evaluating the student's communication skills and at bringing out the knowledge of the topics discussed and discussed in the course.

Principles of operation of the asynchronous motor with squirrel cage rotor. Outline of the components of the equivalent circuit in the phasor domain and its use for derivation of the expression of the mechanical pair. Use of the motor in regenerative braking and countercurrent braking mode. Start-up current problem and asynchronous motor start-up methods and methods for limiting the current values at start-up.
