SUBMISSION OF STUDY PLANS A.Y. 2025/2026

Submitting your study plan means that the student must choose:

The study plan can be completed online or via Google Form

  1. Online: for the A.Y. 2025/2026, students enrolled in the degree programmes and cohorts listed in the tables under the section "Online Study Plan Submission" must complete their Online Study Plan through the GCS service.
The cohort refers to the year of enrolment and the academic regulation reported in the student’s transcript.

B. Google Form: students must use the Google Form if they:

  • have made transfers/changes/shortenings of career,
  • have an individual study plan already approved,
  • have taken part in an Erasmus mobility programme,
  • have already submitted a plan through Google Form,
  • are out-of-course students (check the table below to verify your year of enrolment),
  • are enrolled in a Master’s degree and have already taken a course in the Bachelor’s degree that is mandatory in the Master’s programme. In this case, it is necessary to contact the programme coordinator to determine which course can replace the mandatory one.
If you do not fall into any of the cases above, you will submit your plan online.

A. Submission of the Study Plan ONLINE

Before proceeding with the submission, please make sure to carefully watch the tutorial and read the Guide to Completing the Online Study Plan.

The table below lists, for each degree programme, the cohorts for which the online study plan submission is available.

If the selection of elective CFU is made only among the remaining optional activities and/or the courses recommended by the degree programme in the Student Guide for the relevant cohort, the plan will be automatically approved and does not require committee evaluation.

All other study plans are subject to evaluation and approval by the designated committee. The selection of elective CFU may include remaining optional activities, recommended courses from the Student Guide, or any course offered by the University.

After completing your study plan, please make sure that the total CFU count is correct (180 for Bachelor’s, 120 for Master’s).
If the total number of CFU exceeds the minimum required, make sure this choice is intentional.

Only after this check should you confirm the final submission of your plan.

B. Submission of the Study Plan via Google Form

If you are enrolled in degree programmes governed by Ministerial Decree 509/1999 or previous regulations, you must send the form to ingegneria.pianistudio@unifi.it.

Google Form link October 15, 2025 – November 15, 2025

After the first submission window closes, it will be possible to resubmit the study plan for students whose plan was rejected. The resubmission dates will be announced at a later time.

Google Form for resubmission of rejected study plans

Note: Students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Biomedical Engineering who must complete the study plan via Google Form are required to attach the following control file: Attachment: Study Plan Amendment Form – Version July 1, 2025.

C. Choice or Modification of the Curriculum

The choice of curriculum must be made within the online procedure, and before submitting the actual study plan.

If you wish to modify the curriculum already chosen at the time of enrolment, you can do so before editing your study plan, through the procedure available on the Student Career Management (Gestione Carriere Studenti) portal under “career” > “curriculum selection”.

Once the curriculum change has been made, you must in any case inform the Student Administration Office by writing to ing@adm.unifi.it, copying ingegneria.pianistudio@unifi.it. In the email, please specify any exams taken that are not included in the new curriculum and for which you wish to request recognition.

The choice must be made only among the curricula active for your cohort of enrolment.

D. Graduating Students

Students who are about to graduate and need to make changes to their study plan in order to complete their degree requirements must submit their plan exclusively through the Google Form.

It is not necessary to wait for committee approval if the modification only concerns the inclusion of a thesis or internship activity already recognized by the programme.

For all other changes, approval from the programme committee is required.

E. Approval Times and Results

Study plans submitted online or via Google Form will be reviewed by the Degree Programme Committee.

Students will be notified of the approval or any required changes through the Student Portal (GCS) or their institutional email address (name.surname@stud.unifi.it).

Once the plan has been approved, the student can register for exams for the selected courses and view the plan in their academic transcript.

Processing times: generally within 30 days after the submission deadline.

F. Contacts and Support

For any issues related to filling out or submitting the study plan, students may contact:

For technical issues with the GCS system, please open a ticket via the University Helpdesk.
