How to participate and duration of the internship

The call for the participation to the Erasmus+ Traineeship program is published annually in the international mobility section of the University website - usually in the period February/March - and the departures refer to the following academic year of the publication of the call.

It is possible to participate to the call if the student of the University of Florence - of any nationality - has a good knowledge of the language of the country of the Host Institution or a language accepted as “vehicular” by the Host Institution, and is regularly enrolled in a degree course at the University of Florence.

A graduated student, who intends to carry out an internship within 12 months from the date of graduation, may also participate. Those who intend to carry out the post-graduate internship, must apply before obtaining the title. The Internship must begin and end within 12 months after the graduation, and in any case within the time limits set in the call.

Students who have previously benefited from an Erasmus grant for Study or Traineeship can also participate, provided that they still have available a minimum of 2 months to be carried out within the Erasmus+ mobility program for Traineeship.

Traineeships have a duration between a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months. Traineeships that last less than 2 month are not eligible for funding. Activities must be completed by the time limits set in the call. Mobility periods between pre- and post-graduate are not allowed, nor overlapping, even partial, between the period of Erasmus+ for Study and the period of Erasmus+ for Traineeship.
